The only way to describe the pattern featured on this almost antique dinnerware set by Noritake. I have not been able to ID it but the pattern features a white center with creme or very light yellow band; red & green rim with gold/tan color scallops with hints of green, for decor on the band, plus a scroll like design next to the multi color floral sprays. And, gilding on edges of all pieces...

Some very thick on handles and decor (particularly the serving pieces). Really, just beautiful and so versatile since it would look great used for any holiday because of the colors. The set includes the following pieces, which unless specified, are in NEAR PERFECT CONDITION with no chips, cracks, scrapes, scratches, or wearing of the gold or paint. Look like they may have been stored by the previous owner and very rarely if ever used. (11) Dinner Plates 10d; only two have tiny scratch on band from stacking, hardly noticeable.

(12) Salad Plates 7 5/8d; only three have very slight scratch/rubbing on gold rim. (12) Bread Plates 6 3/8d; same. (12) Dbl handled soup bowls 5"d (not incl handles) x 2"h; only three have slight rubbed spot on gold rim. (12) Dessert Bowls 5 1/4"d x 1 1/4"h; all perfect.

(10) Cups 3 3/4"d x 2 1/4"h; all have tiny rubbed spot on the gold on bottom of handle due to stacking. (14) Saucers 5 5/8d; all perfect. (1) Covered Sugar bowl 5 1/2"d (not incl handles) x 2 2/1"h; perfect (2pcs). (1) Gravy boat w/attached plate 7 1/2"L (plate 9"L) x 5w; perfect.

(1) Covered Round Serving Bowl 9 5/8"d (not incl handles, rim to rim; inside bowl is abt 7"d) x 2 5/8h (not incl lid and finial); perfect (2pcs). This lot will serve 10 people with a full, 7pc place setting.

The extra pieces will be perfect for serving, along with the other gorgeous serving pieces. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
