This Magnificence pattern was manufactured for 13 years by the Noritake China company, based in Japan. We would classify this pattern as somewhere in the middle of the pack when it comes to china patterns. There are those, such as Lenox Autumn that have a distinct and loud presence, while others such Wedgwood Sterling are quite muted. There are even plenty of plain white patterns such as Wedgwood Edme.
Magnificence, with it's mutes tones of flowers in soft pink and blue is a well designed pattern with being loud and ostentatious. We would check out Lenox Rose Manor as an accompanying pattern. This set includes 4 11/78" dinner plates, 4 8" salad plates, 4 6" bread plates, 4 5 3/4" saucers, and 4 3x3 footed tea cups. This set was a wedding set from a marriage in 1986 and haven't been used; they do not have any imperfections.
