75 Pc Noritake Temptation China Set Service for 12 Plus Silver & Lace Dinnerware
Offering a 75 piece set, service for 12, of Noritake Temptation china made in the 1970s. Made of creamy white china with a hint of gray and trimmed with a silver band. The borders are decorated with a lacy overlay of filigree in white with soft violet flowers and green leaves.
16 dinner plates, 10 1/2. 12 salad or dessert plates, 8. 16 bread plates, 6 3/4. 12 cups, 3 1/4" high and 3" across the mouth. 1 sugar bowl 4 1/2" high by 6" wide (to handles).
1 cream pitcher, 4 1/2" high by 4 1/2" wide (spout to handle). 1 oval meat platter, 14 1/2" by 10". 1 oval turkey platter, 16" by 11 1/2". 2 vegetable serving bowls, 10" by 7" and 3 high.
1 tea or coffee pot, 6" wide and 4 1/2" high. A nice feature, the dessert plates, cups and saucers, tea/coffee pot, creamer and sugar bowl can be used as a dessert set as well.
The china pieces have the black Noritake wreath mark used from the 1970s to the 2010s and Temptation 2752. Offered for sale by the original owner, the set has been used for special occasions only and stored appropriately. Seventy-three pieces are in excellent condition without chips, cracks, scratches. One dinner plate has a 1/4" rim chip and another dinner plate has a 1/8" rim chip with a 1 1/2 hairline crack. This is a lovely china set.
