I have not been able to determine the pattern that features white ground with a rose bouquet encircled in gold filigree. There are other wild flowers with gold drape, gold edging and gold patterned verge line. The china is backstamped with the gold Morimura stamp, used between 1930-41 for export from Japan to high end Australian and US markets. The SET includes service for six (6), plus extras, a total of 52 pieces: 7 dinner plates (10"), 6 salad plates (7 1/2"), 7 bread plates (6 1/2"), 6 soup bowls (8 1/4"), 6 sauce bowls (5 5/8"), 6 saucers (5 5/8"), 7 cups (2 1/2" high), a gravy boat with platter (9 1/4"x 6 1/2"x2 1/2"), an 11" platter (11 3/4"x 9"), a 16" platter (16 1/4"x12"), an 8 oz.

Creamer, a lidded sugar (4 1/2"), an oval vegetable dish (10 5/8"x 8"x2 1/2" high) and a covered casserole (11" handle to handle x 8 3/8"x 6 3/4 high). The china is in good condition without chips, stains or crazing. The only noted wear is to the gold verge pattern on most of the bread plates, as pictured.
