NORITAKE IMPERIAL GARDEN Bone China Coffee/Tea Set Large Pot VINTAGE

This very rare and absolutely stunning Tea/Coffee set for six plus Pot made by Noritake. This is a set made by Noritake in beautiful IMPERIAL GARDEN pattern. The pattern Pink/Green Flowers And Braided Band on cream background. All the pieces have silver/platinum rim, as well as, silver handles on the cups, creamer and teapot.

(six) Coffee/Tea Cups- 3 1/4" in diameter at the rim and 3" tall. (six) Saucers for the cups- 6 in diameter.

The set will make a wonderful gift or will be a great addition to any vintage china collection. Bone china is a type of soft-paste porcelain that is composed of bone ash, feldspathic material, and kaolin.

It has been defined as ware with a translucent body containing a minimum of 30% of phosphate derived from animal bone and calculated calcium phosphate. Developed by English potter Josiah Spode, bone china is known for its high levels of whiteness, translucency, very high mechanical strength and chip resistance. Its high strength allows it to be produced in thinner cross-sections than other types of porcelain.

Noritakes quality porcelain and bone china are actually the strongest ceramic dinnerware materials. They are fired at the highest temperatures and are made of the strongest ingredients. After conducting extensive tests on several of our porcelain and bone china patterns, we found that they are every bit as dishwasher safe as our casual dinnerware.

Feel free to use your "good china" whenever you want to make an occasion special, or any time at all. The set is in great antique condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
